on the lips. This was the incident to take the cake. The
sharpshooter knew everyone at the party had seen the man do it
and to say he wasn t dumbfounded would be a lie. He loved this
new transformation of Slade s though it would take some getting
used to.
Searching the man s rich blue eyes, Reeve flashed him that
legendary flirtatious grin, flicked the hat up and then embraced
the man, whispering,  Ah hell, I m sorry, Slade, for being such a
pain in your ass all these years.
 Have I ever told you, how much I love it that you re a pain in
my ass, you big bloody cowboy? Slade quipped.
 No, no you haven t, come to think of it. Reeve s face slowly
lit up into an evil grin.  Perhaps when we get home, sweet
cheeks, you could show me how much you love it. Just like in
the olden days, he couldn t resist, and holding the commander
snug to his chest, he goosed the man in front of everyone.
Slade was so embarrassed all he could do was laugh.  You re
a bloody bastard!
The long riding coat, wrapped around them both and the
large man chuckled against his red face.  And you love it, babe.

Passion is passion no matter whom the person is you love and
when Slade finally swallowed his pride and allowed himself to be
free from what he thought others perceived of him, he eventually

evolved into a better person. He could still be the same old
stubborn, cold, calculating and impersonal prick he d always
been, but the flip side was a new Slade, a much kinder,
thoughtful, open and giving man a man who was willing to
show those feelings even publicly. Reeve, on the other hand,
learnt to curb his aggravating personality traits to a duller hum,
so they were bearable for Slade to live with and Astron just
enjoyed the ride. He couldn t have asked for a more fascinating
existence.

About the Author
Being a writer and knowing my personality, a long-time friend,
who has always enjoyed putting me to the test, dared me to write
an erotic novel and not just any erotic novel, but one with a
unique twist. I d never written erotica before and especially a
story about two men. But like a fool, I agreed.
Everyone, from friends to strangers read the story and they
liked it. In the end, at their instigating, I wrote a second part to
the story and now Devotion is complete. On the flip-side, I
enjoyed writing the story so much I ve decided to write more
novels in the same genre.
That s how this book came to be and as for me& I reside
North of Sixty, and yes, I am a woman, wife and mother. I ve
been writing and drawing since elementary school and I love
anything that involves the arts. As for family, my daughter is my
toughest critic and my greatest support!
